Hello Brother Knights,
Last night we had our 1st. Birth of Jesus Presentation. It was beautiful. We had the Nativity Youth Choir, several knights & others playing roles with good spotlight lighting, PA system, old fashion hot cocoa & more. About 100 people were there including actors. We made the front page of the Daily Iberian today. This is what we wanted as Knights, was to have lots of people come back to the Live Nativity Scene. Last couple of years we hardly had any spectators.
Well tonight's 2nd Birth of Jesus Presentation was even better. We had at least 200 people there & even perfected the scenes more than before. We couldn't get a choir for tonight so my wife, Vicky burned a CD with the exact songs needed which we played on the PA system. The music was very appropriate.
I WANT TO THANK ALL OF OUR KNIGHTS & OTHERS FOR HELPING WITH THIS VERY IMPORTANT PLAY, IT WAS AWESOME. WHETHER YOU WERE HELPING WITH THE PLAY OR JUST WATCHING THE PLAY, I APPRECIATE YOU VERY MUCH IN MAKING IT A HUGE SUCCESS. 2009 PLAY WE WILL HAVE A BIGGER & BETTER PLAY.
We of the 4th. degree are now inviting all Knights of 1st. degree thru 4th. degree to come to our Jan. 28, 2009 supper & meeting. We will decide on a bigger hall & we will have a feast to eat. Now the 1st. thru 4th. degree will have this one meeting together. We will all watch the film (about 35 minutes long) of this presentation & discuss it a little. We might take care of a little business at this meeting. I will also offer all 3rd. degree knights to sign up with us to become a 4th. degree. I need 12 new members to join 4th. degree for our quota. Even now we do have a 4th. degree coming up in Jan. 2009 in Alexandria if any of you are interested now. I know lots of you 3rd. degree knights are borderline to join our 4th. ranks. PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT NOW & TALK TO YOUR FELLOW 3RD. DEGREE KNIGHTS IN YOUR COUNCIL ABOUT THIS INVITATION BUT NO PRESSURE.
