Double Star Council Plaque
For Council 12997 achieving several goals set by The State Council

  Past Grand Knight Wayne Duhon Sr. and wife Victoria holding 2 Double Star Plaques. 1 plaque for 2006-2007 & 2nd.Plaque for 2007-2008. There were only 2 council in Louisiana who won Double Star Council for year 2007-2008. One was 12997.

These plaque’s represents correct amount of new membership & correct amount of insurance sales & all paper work being sent off before deadlines from

 June 30, 2006 thru July 1, 2008.

And Represent a lot of hard work by the officer of the Council

This work could not be achieved with the support of the Wives

 KC Gumbo Cook-off Area Winners (12997) held in Breaux Bridge in November 2008. Now 12997 will go the the State KC Gumbo Cook-off while at Grand Knights Day in Jan. 2009. They could have as many as 15 kc teams competing at Grand Knights Day.
